Collegiate Compass

Collegiate Compass LLC is an educational advising firm based in Greenwich, CT and New York, NY.  Collegiate Compass (“CC”) coaches advise students from across the U.S. and around the world as they navigate the competitive college admissions landscape. Our goal is to help students to maximize their educational opportunities; CC coaches first encourage students to pursue their academic and extracurricular interests in creative ways throughout high school, and then assist students in developing a strategy to highlight their achievements and interests in college applications. Founder Shannon Duff was a former reader for Yale’s Undergraduate Admissions Office, as well as an alumni interviewer.  She holds a BA and an MBA from Yale, where she won nine varsity letters in track and cross-country and was captain of the cross-country team.  She is a contributing author of Untangling the Ivy League, and Get Into College, college guidebooks by College Prowler and Hundreds of Heads, respectively, and is frequently quoted by the media on the subject of college admissions.
